Practicum Positions

LinuxMagic is committed to training and development of new people on an ongoing basis, and as such from time to time like to give the opportunities to individuals with little or no work experience in the industry.

The Practicum positions are such an opportunity. We pass on a lot of training, and real world experience, and in return get the opportunity to evaluate applicants for possible job positions with our firm, that we would not otherwise be able to consider.

Practicum positions do not guarantee a job with our companies, however we are pleased with the success rate of the program, and have on many occasions been able to provide direct employment with ourselves, or with our clients. But even without those opportunities, the training gained is invaluable, and the type of training that cannot be gained from a training institute, and ANY prospective employer likes to see that on a resume, as well as having the ability to check references.
