I just retried sending an email from another account and got a similar problem with my ISP's email server (Exim). They use some strange 3rd party virus checking relay host based in another country The email did arrive but it took 2 attempts, so a small delay. Thanks for looking at the problem, but I think it may not be a problem after all, just a delay caused by the remote server(s), rather than magic. I think my ISP probably has a slower connection than my colocated server. Otherwise magic-smtpd is working as I'd expect, saving my domain from getting 1000's of spam emails etc. Cheers, Pete On Mon, 2004-08-30 at 19:04, Bart wrote: > Hi Pete, > > It doesn't look like a problem with the helo, but if you could send the output > of an "strace -p [PID]" when it hangs (to bart@wizard.ca), we can try to see > what's going on there. > > Thanks > > Bart > >
