Update:
I built using the _LMRELEASE=1 flag, and the problem seems to be gone.
The box I build on is also a 'full' redhat install. So perhaps I was
missing some libraries?
thanks

Subject: magic-smtpd rcpt to: problem
Hello,
I built magic-smtpd on a redhat8 box, with the hopes of replacing
qmail-smtpd. But I get session timeouts when sending smtp email to the
new daemon. Specifically, I do not get a response to my RCPT TO: line.
If I forcibly send a second RCPT TO: (instead of waiting for a
response), then I get an OK. If I run ./magic-smtpd interactively, then
I see some debugging info as shown below. If I answer 'y' to the
prompts, then I can step through the transaction. Please let me know if
you've seen this before. I would really like to use magic-smtpd to
enforce RFC compliant addresses and whatnot.
thanks
