Re: Will it work on Freebsd?

I have not heard from anyone who has successfully run it on FreeBSD.
It should be possible however, and if you are a programmer I would
welcome patches which allow it to compile on FreeBSD. I did a quick
test previously on NetBSD and the first problem I ran into was that
the Makefiles are written to use GNU make. You will probably have
better luck with gmake than the BSD make. You will most likely need to
be at least somewhat familiar with the BSD libraries in order to sort
out which libraries you need to link. At some point in the future I
might spend some time looking into this in order to have it compile
and run properly on (Free|Open|Net)BSD, but unfortunately it is not
currently a high priority.

    Thanks,
      Josh
