RE: [magicmail-users] spam_check will not enable

Let me turn this into a straight forward question:
If spam control files are being loaded from magicspam-default, and in that
directory smtp_check, spam_check, valid_bounce all contain a 1, is there any
other requirement to have spam checking enabled?

I have created a magicspam-default directory and set spam_check smtp_check
and
valid_bounce to 1. However when I  receive mail, I see this in the log:

/home/vpopmail/domains/networktoolware.com/.magicspam-default/
Jun 28 01:09:18 ns msd[16901]: Loading spam rule control files from
/home/vpopmail/domains/networktoolware.com/.magicspam-default/
Jun 28 01:09:18 ns msd[16901]: User spam rules loaded successfully
Jun 28 01:09:18 ns msd[16901]: User does not have spam checking enabled

Obviously,  I successfully created the directory because it says the spam
rules
loaded successfully, but the next line says spam checking is not enabled. As
you
can see:

[root@ns networktoolware.com]# dir .magicspam-default
smtp_check  spam_check	valid_bounce
[root@ns networktoolware.com]# cat .magicspam-default/*
1
1
1

spam checking should be enabled. What have I missed?
